Greetings! As I said to my BNI group yesterday, I feel so incredibly blessed to be a part of this community! First, allow me to congratulate Scott Hill, CEO of LewisGale Montgomery, and current Chairman of the Board for the Chamber, as the 2011 Star Regional Award winner for the March of Dimes! Scott works tirelessly for this community and this is a very well deserved honor. The March of Dimes is honoring Scott at a Breakfast, September 30th at the Roanoke Country Club. If you'd like to join me at this breakfast to honor Scott, please call me. Dr. Joe Meredith, President of the CRC, was last year's recipient.
September 1st is the next Eggs & Issues at Lucie Monroe's. Candidates for Sheriff, Treasurer, and Commissioner of Revenue will be speaking and Dr. Bob Denton will be moderating this session. Reservations are required.
