 The Business Expo is tomorrow! The energy surrounding this event has been so positive and the enthusiasm is contagious! The number of vendors surpassed last year and with the addition of three seminars on relevant topics, expectations are good for a record attendance.
The Leadership class will also have their 5th session with wonderful speakers lined up for them. If you are considering the 2012 Leadership Class, please let Dr. Sharon Scott or me know. Applications will be accepted starting in September so plan to join the 2012 class as it will fill very quickly.

The Townof Blacksburg kicked off Market Square Jam on Tuesday nights from 7-11pm in Market Square Park.
The Town of Blacksburg also rolled out Sidewalk Stage as a way to encourage performers & artists to show off their talents. Changes have been made to the application process and with five designated downtown locations, spaces are now first come first serve. Artists are allowed to perform up to three hours any time between 10 am-10pm.
