Ike

Hi! My name is Ike!

Did you see me on TV? I was the star this month on Channel 33 with Dr. Barton and the  East Lake Pet Orphanage.  My Bunny friend Harvey was my co-star, but you could see that I really stole the show!  I am a Chocolate and Tan Labrador Retriever mix born on 3/4/12.  I am a curious and active 14 weeks old.  I am so playful, full of energy and happy all the time, though if you hold me, I will put my head on your shoulder and cuddle.

Harvey

Hi!  My name is Harvey!

I am a Netherland Dwarf bunny and also a recent star of Channel 33 along with my friend Ike.  I was born on 10/26/11, so I am about 7 months old now.  I am all white (except for my black ears) and so cute and cuddly! I really love attention, being held closely and snuggled.  Come see me!  I know you won't be able to resist my winning personality!

As our Orphans of the Month for June, you can adopt either of these wonderful pets at 20% off of the regular $165 adoption donation for canines or $135 adoption donation for rabbits.

Visit these orphans in person and complete your adoption application between now and June 30, 2012 to be able to take advantage of this great offer!

Incubator Needed!

Just last year we were able to help in the rescue of over 1,200 wild birds. Unfortunately, our incubator has broken and a replacement will cost in excess of $1,200. If you can contribute funds or if you or someone you know has an incubator, please contact us today!

As a community shelter, we rely solely on private donations from people like you to provide life saving health care and preventative treatment for whatever time is needed until adoptive homes can be found.  When you donate to East Lake Pet Orphanage, you prevent euthanasia and give a second chance to a pet in need.

The easiest way to make a donation is to go to our website at www.elpo.org or www.helppets.net.  On the left-hand side of the page there is a button shaped like a bone that says donate. Click it, and you are taken to the page where you can use PayPal to send a secure payment.

You can also mail in a gift to:
