Women's Thealogical Institute Online Programs

How do women from Peru and Ontario, Montana and Virginia create spiritual community?  It may not seem likely, but women from different parts of the world are now connecting and forming community as part of the pilot program Women's Thealogical Institute Online Program (WTIOP).

The Women's Thealogical Institute (WTI) began in 1987 and since then nearly a hundred women have graduated from the program.  Many of these women have gone on to persue the requirements for Priestessing and become Priestesses of the Re-formed Congregation of the Goddess-International.

The Women's Thealogical Institute encourages women to embark on a program of self-directed spiritual development designed to further personal and spiritual growth.  WTI is a structured, but not rigid, program for women who wish to deepen their understanding of, and commitment to, Goddess spirituality.

Before WTIOP started, all WTI activities were only offered in weekend groups at various locations in North America.  The weekend groups still continue, but WTI is now offered online.  You can be a part of this innovative new WTI concept.  To find out more information about WTIOP or the WTI Weekend programs click here.

WTI online classes offer a variety of training in weekly increments several times a year.  WTI classes can provide credit in both WTI weekend programs and WTIOP.

The most current offering of online classes will begin in January.  Click here or see below for more information.

Online Classes beginning the Week of January 3, 2010

Six-week courses:  $65 for enrolled WTI Participants / $75 for all others interested in personal growth.

  • Kabbalah, Qabalah, and Goddess with Judith Laura
    • Jewish Kabbalah and Hermetic (aka Western Esoteric) Qabalah are given as examples of metaphysical systems that include both male & female depictions of divinity. But do these depictions show equality or something else? This course gives a conceptual history of both Jewish Kabbalah and Hermetic Qabalah (which combines Jewish, Christian, Egyptian and sometimes other symbolism), and traces and re-visions the Tree of Life, which is their central symbol, back to its likely source: the Ancient Near East Goddess Tree of Life.

  • Introduction to EFT - Emotional Freedom Technique with Rev. Nano Boye Nagle, MLA
    • Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is a tool that allows us to face life with greater courage & reduced suffering. EFT and MTT (Meridian Tapping Therapies) provides relief from chronic pain, emotional problems, chronic disorders, addictions, phobias, post-traumatic stress, and diseases. It gives us access to our inner healer and boosts our communication with our subconscious. Like acupuncture and acupressure, EFT is a set of techniques that utilize the body's energy meridian points.

After the first week, this course will be done primarily using teleconferences, with Skype or Gotomeeting.com. Class members will need to have a Skype account and access to at least headphones, preferably with a microphone. In order to allow people in different time zones and with difficult work schedules to participate in the class. Boye will record them and post them the following day.

Classes will be a combination of practicing basic EFT protocol and learning more advanced techniques. Class members will be expected to participate either as volunteers to work directly with Boye or to be part of the healing circle, tapping as a group. Classes will be about 90 mins of time per week for the 6-week course.
    • WTI Credit: Healing, Personal Growth, Body & Health, Energy Management

  • Ritual Tarot Spread: Priestess / Guardian Energy with Bellezza Squillace
    • This is a more advanced Tarot study, effective especially, if you are interested in relationships between Priestess & Guardian and working with them in the way you might see inside a ritual. The spread is Bellezza's original creation based upon her love of ritual, Guardians & Priestesses, numerology & energy movement. Participants will use their personal decks and discover new ways to use the imagery and energetic power of this ancient tool.
    • WTI Credit: Divination, Energy Management, Ritual, CST, Personal Growth

  • Shamans, Skywatchers, & Storytellers with Sid Reger, ed.D.
    • It's winter in the Northern Hemisphere. In many cultures, this is the time to share myths, stories, and wisdom for the tribe. Let's meet around an on-line hearth to explore myths & realities of life for our most ancient ancestors, the tribes of the Ice Age. Recent discoveries reveal that these early people were highly intelligent and skilled in healing & astronomy. They also created the first sets of symbols for sacred rituals, which remain as archetypes for us to use today. Explore their art, symbols, and creativity, and learn about their knowledge of seasonal & celestial cycles. And, in the process, separate facts from the fictions of patriarchy. Based on what we learn, we'll create new myths & rituals to celebrate our ancestors. This class contains short writing activities.

When a tangible piece of art is created, it is helpful (but not required) to post photos. Experienced artists & newcomers are welcome and encouraged to participate & create as we honor the Triple Goddess!
