OPPORTUNITIES AT WESTLAKE |
2009 SUMMER CAMP REGISTRATION IS UNDERWAYRegistration for this year's edition of Camp Cubber is underway. Our theme this summer is UNDERCOVER PROJECTS and students will be able to investigate a variety of exciting science, technology, and athletic opportunities. I am excited to announce that we had a very busy first week of registration. So if you are looking for a quality camp experience in a familiar environment, check out the Camp Cubber website at www.campcubber.com. GOING THE EXTRA EAGLE MILE FOR CANCER RESEARCHOne of our parents is participating in the 2009 American Cancer Society Relay for Life. Supporting this 18 hour event is one of the best ways that you can help raise needed funds for cancer research. Research shows that cancer claims an American life every 60 seconds. As one who has recently lost a loved one to cancer, I would encourage you to support this endeavor. If you would like to support this worthy cause or learn more about getting involved in the 2009 Relay for Life, click HERE.
