Join thousands of fellow Berkeleyans as we walk, bike, skate, dance, and play along a car-free Shattuck Ave. from Haste to Rose THIS Sunday, October 14th from 11am-4pm. Between 5,000-10,000 people are expected to attend this wonderful inaugural event.
Local merchants and organizations are providing fun and completely FREE interactive activities and performances, such as dancing, skating, musical jam sessions, free bike repair, "rock" climbing and more. Attractions at Sunday's family-friendly event also include face painting, live classical music, physics demonstrations, free yoga classes, tours of a brewery, Brazilian drumming and graffiti painting. Shattuck Ave will be CLOSED and cars will be TOWED
from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm on Sunday, October 14. Buses will be re-routed, and Downtown Berkeley bus stops will temporarily change locations from 6:00 am - 7:00 pm on October 14th. See more transit information here.

Celebrate the 20th Annual Indigenous People's Day with us in honor of all of our ancestors, the people continuing the struggle today and future generations. The Pow wow will feature native California dancers and a dance contest for all categories of intertribal dancing. All Traditional Drums are welcome. Native American Foods and Arts & Crafts will be available all day at the Indian Market. Raffles all day till 6 pm.
