Join the hilarious and heartfelt team of solo performance artists Nancy Margulies, Lori Shantzis, and Ann Swanberg for a amusing night of storytelling and comedy, proving that three heads are definitely better than one. Margulies will headline with her much-loved Deaf Poets Society - part comical lesson in slang sign language, part illuminating entry into the world of deaf people living on the fringes of society.



City Council proceeds with Civil Sidewalks Ordinance for November Ballot
On Tuesday, June 12th, the Berkeley City Council voted 6-3 for the City Manager to draft a Civil Sidewalks ballot measure restricting sitting on the sidewalks in commercial areas from 7am to 10pm. On July 10th, the Council will review the ballot measure, and make a final decision to place the measure on the November ballot.
