The Berkeley Farmers Market Family Fun Festival is an entire day of free fun for the whole family featuring hands-on activities, games, contests, performances, and informational booths. Come  enjoy the bouncy house, petting zoo, face painting, DOOF (F-O-O-D Backwards) Food Animation Station, Rad Dad table for a zine making, Green Branch "reading room", Bear-ly Used Bazaar and so much more. Scheduled activities include a Parent/Child Kick Ball Game, Hula Hoop Contest, live performance, sing-a-long and circle dance by Orange Sherbet, volleyball game, a skateboard contest, and a "Strawberry Walk."

Kenneth Brower, the acclaimed writer and eldest son of David Brower, will discuss his new book, told from the perspective of 20 environmental leaders who were inspired by his father. This collection of testimonials pays tribute to a man who changed the world by challenging those around him to save it. Malcolm Margolin, founder and executive director of Heyday, will interview Kenneth Brower about the book and his father's legacy.
