Hazel Wolf Gallery and Goldman Theater, David Brower Center 2150 Allston Way
David Brower, father of the modern environmental movement, pioneered the concept of using photography for advocacy. In the year he would have been 100, we celebrate his legacy with a special exhibition featuring the exhibit format books he championed, as well as stunning work from photographers Bill Curtsinger and Joseph Holmes. The opening event will include a reception and artist talk with Curtsinger and Kenneth Brower, writer and eldest son of David Brower. The exhibit runs through August 31.
