A Celebration of Berkeley's long love affair with coffee, caffeine addiction and the art of sitting in cafes all day
Over 30 coffee, tea and dessert vendors, including
specialty coffee drinks, scrumptous pastries, a wide selection of loose leaf and bagged tea, espresso and chai tea gelato and tea infused chocolate, not to mention expert panels on Coffee 101 and Tea 101 and a traditional Japanese tea ceremony!
Admission: Tickets are $20 ($15 if you "Like" the Berkeley Chamber of Commerce on Facebook), which gets you unlimited tastings from over 30 vendors, a mini souvenir coffee mug & a goodie bag with vendor samples.
Over 30 different specialty coffee, tea and dessert vendors will convene to showcase their products and services and to offer this wonderful opportunity for guests to learn about the varied and diverse nature of their offerings. Come and claim your mini souvenir coffee mug and cruise the festival tasting coffee and tea to your heart's delight!
Participate in a number of special activities! There will be a traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony, information on Fair Trade coffee and differences in coffee beans, and an explanation on the differences between loose leaf tea and tea bags. Learn how to best prepare tea and coffee, what fair trade really means, and more in on one of our Coffee or Tea 101 Panels!
Stay for an hour or the whole morning, and learn why "Coffee and Tea" so often equal Berkeley!
