Event Description
Michael Winter and Will Wright - creator of the Sims and Sim City - started the Stupid Fun Club (be sure to click on their logo on the upper left of the screen). Their goal is to use technology to create fun: robots that ask people embarrassing questions; TV shows that feature robots and cartoon art; video games; and a mobile app for the Android that offers minute-by-minute personal advice on leading a more fun life. Michael - a film maker, inventor, and successful high-tech entrepreneur - will bring some of his robots to the Freight, so be prepared to engage with these mechanical creatures. He'll also talk about how to turn your robots and other ideas into revenue.
This monthly event is a partnership between Sylvia Paull and the Berkeley Startup Cluster and is designed to create a spirited forum about technology for people in business, technology, education, government, the arts, and nonprofit organizations.
