Japan Relief Efforts


Our community is stepping up to support Japan in its recovery from the earthquake and tsunami. Please consider these local sources as a connection to make your donations.


Center Street Merchants
Center Street merchants have launched an effort to support Japan Relief. Your donation will be matched by the merchants up to $1,000 total. Please write your check to Center Street Merchants. You can deliver it to 2136 Center Street (a small office in the middle of the block between Shattuck and Oxford), or mail it to 1442 A Walnut St. #116, Berkeley, CA 94709.


Saturn Cafe's Third Thursday Art Show and Fundraiser for Tsunami Victims in Japan

This Thursday, March 17,  7pm-10pm, Saturn Cafe's monthly fund raiser will be dedicated to raising funds for Japan's tsunami victims. Saturn will be taking a $5 donation at the door with all proceeds going to Doctors Without Borders.  

 

Join Saturn for a night filled with music, art, food, drinks and community!  

* The featured artist for the night will be Stoye Milburn - a Berkeley artist who will be showcasing his Cosmology set in the Space Lounge. Stoye is also a member of the Firehouse art collective in Berkeley.  

* A music performance by Local Musician Ryan Dishen. Ryan just released a full length album this year, He will be performing an acoustic set featuring a few of his newer songs and a few of his older ones as well.
* Stay after for Thursday night Karaoke featuring our very own Saturn KJ!  

 

Show starts at 7:00 and runs until 9:00. Karaoke 9:00 - Midnight
