Subterranean Arthouse Benefest

Subterranean Arthouse will celebrate their second anniversary with a 3-day celebration. Founders Claire Duplantier and Nicole Rodriguez use an all volunteer staff such as Mike Perlmutter, booker, a leader on the avant-garde "ethnic" music scene. This unique multidisciplinary, multi-use space has hardwood floors and a simple high-ceiling gallery with incredible acoustics. The artists interact with the audience in a low-key and all-age friendly atmosphere, and the space has been attracting an increasingly impressive line-up of musicians and performers such as the group Zoyres Eastern European Wild Ferment.
