Greetings!
Welcome to Summer! Graduations, Weddings, Vacations - seems like our personal lives start to take off in June. I'll have you know that I am writing this on the beach and life is GOOD. (insert smiley face here!)
Anyway - back to business! If you have been to my website recently, you may have noticed that I added an option for online booking. WAIT! Don't get excited! It's not working. (insert frowney face here) I am in the process of fixing that so keep checking back if you are interested in booking your appointments online.
Enjoy the rest of the newsletter! (yes, it may be brief due to the "beach effect") |

Pets and Summer Heat
If you plan to take your pet along with you to your favorite summer vaction spot, remember that your pet can suffer from heat stroke and sunburn as well. Make sure they have plenty of shade and water if they are kept outside. Even better - keep them inside!!! Shaving longer haired breeds is a common thing to do. Personally, I'm not so sure it's a good idea, but I don't have any backup for that. If you do shave, make sure you apply sunscreen, because they can burn. Use sunscreen made for pets, since some made for humans may be toxic to your pet. It's even recommended if you and Fido are going to be out in the sun a long time, to put some on his nose!
Don't forget your sunscreen as well! But do get some time in the sun, since the latest medical news is that we are all vitamin D deficient.
