December 2010

Dear Yogis and Yoginis,

We hope this newsletter has found you and your loved ones in the best of health and spirits this holiday season!  And on that subject of your health and spirits, 'tis the season to increase and or maintain a steady vibrant and consistent yoga practice!

Let's be honest, this is the time of year many of us fall ill or get fat or both! Aren't you tired of the same ol' hum drum?  Wouldn't you like to change this terrible pattern?

Well, one simple yet significant move in that direction is to come to yoga. The hardest thing is to just get here and sometimes you have to drag yourself here. We all have days like that but once you are here and after you leave its worth it.

The mind will forget but the body always remembers.

Many of us also get the blues during this time of year for numerous reasons: seasonal change, family pressures and or financial strains. Yoga can help restore a sense of peace, clarity, harmony and revitalization. Essentially yoga helps put your health (mental, emotional and physical) at the top of your list.

Bikram always asks, "What is the most important thing in your life?"  The answer: YOUR LIFE!

You cannot be a good Mom or Dad or Teacher or Banker if you are not balanced first. So for this holiday season give yourself and your loved ones the gift of good health. It is a priceless and timeless gift.

See you in class!

Namaste.
