This June, EVOLUTION and the Kane School of Core Integration, based in New York City, join forces to bring you the most comprehensive Pilates Mat & Equipment training program for instructors and bodywork practitioners.

 

EVOLUTION is happy to welcome Kelly Kane and the Kane School.   Kelly will be kicking off our certification program this June.  Anyone who is interested in Pilates instruction or any bodywork practitioner who is looking to expand their knowledge of the core and core exercises to better balance the body - this is an incredible opportunity to learn from the best of the best.

Also coming in June (a very busy month) is Level I Teacher Training from YogaFit. 
 
Evolution joins forces with YogaFit, bringing the practice of yoga to all populations in a safe and user-friendly, fitness format.  This mind-body workout that improves health, athletic performance and mental acuity in people of all ages and fitness levels.

Bring it to the Core!
 
Mat Classes are a great way to not only increase your abdominal strength but improve your overall core stability.  If you have been an avid Yoga or Reformer participant this is a great class to balance out your current workouts.   Come in for the challenge!
 
We have now added an additional Mat Class on Monday nights at 4 pm with Tracie! 
 
And, based on your feedback, we have consolidated the early morning classes - now find your favorite Mat Class on Wednesday and Friday mornings at 7:30 am!

And, don't forget the latest addition to our Hot Yoga schedule:  Saturday mornings from 8 - 9:30 am - start your weekend right!

Reformer Focus Class: 
Guts & Butts!
 
This month's Reformer Focus classes will concentrate on your abdominals (ALL of them) and your Glutes.  Just in time for the good weather....bathing suit season is right around the corner!
 
In these focus classes we will give you a great overall workout with an emphasis our butts & guts!  
 
Reformer Focus Classes meet on
Monday and Wednesday nights at 5:30 pm with Karen.
 
Attention Reformer Participants!
 
We have been so excited to see so many of you sticking with your program, but do you feel as though you are still getting the challenge you did when first started your reformer training?  The beauty of Pilates is that you can continue to challenge yourself using the same exercises when you "tap" into the proper form, breath, and muscle groups.   If you feel that you need a little "fine" tuning - schedule yourself for a Private appointment with your instructor.  This "fine tuning" will help you better align yourself & also help you and your instructor figure out what the "next level" is for you.

Some other ways to give your body that challenge it needs is to try something new; 
 
Mat Classes - Our Reformer classes are a great way to get an overall body workout with an emphasis on core work & posture, but mat classes will focus primarily on your abdominals and back. These classes are appropriate for all levels, yet bring a new challenge to your core. 
 
 
Pilates Boot Camp - This 90 minute class is offered twice a month gives you 45 minutes of Mat / 45 minutes of Reformer.   The perfect mix for a total body challenge!
