Cholesterol Myth
If you have high cholesterol you should stay away from foods that have a lot of cholesterol. It only makes sense, right? Wrong. It's is a common misconception to believe that people watching their cholesterol should strictly avoid foods high in cholesterol such as eggs, shrimp, and all forms of red meat. New research indicates that the cholesterol consumed from these foods does not dramatically effect your blood cholesterol. The foods that have the biggest effect on raising blood cholesterol are foods high in sugar.
