Karsan USA invited TACCI to a Special Viewing of the Karsan V1 Prototype in New York

karsan
The executives of Karsan Automotive attended a special viewing of the most popular candidate to become the next New York taxi cab, "Karsan V1" which leaded all the polls by far. The CEO Mr. Jan Nahum hosted TACCI President, Vice President and Director at the Classic Car Club showroom in Manhattan on February 1-2 and introduced Karsan V1 prototype to many city officials who visited.

Karsan impressed all the visitors especially with its accessibility for the disabled people which are having big problems about finding wheelchair-friendly taxicabs. The modern design and the "green" features are also making V1 a favorite. The floor of Karsan V1 is flat and an automatic ramp is fitted as standard to allow easy access, the sign on top is digital to make it easier to see whether the cab is for hire and which way the passengers are about to get out of, there are four seats including one that faces the rear and folds up when it's not needed, there's room for luggage in the cab so there's no need to open the boot just because you have a couple of suitcases and the transparent roof allows passengers to gaze at the skyscrapers in wonder.

The 2011 Index of Economic Freedom is now available. Compiled by the Heritage Foundation and the Wall Street Journal, it gauges the economic success of 183 countries around the world based on 10 measures that evaluate openness, the rule of law, and competitiveness.
