BOB's Gift Club

During the months of November and December, our organization can receive $20.00 from Bank of Bolivar for each new deposit account opened. Through their "BOB's Gift Club" program, Bank of Bolivar allows each customer opening anew deposit account to receive a free gift, plus select one of nine different organizations to receive a $20.00 cash gift from the bank. Your selection of our organization is greatly appreciated!

 

A Night for the Y: Divas and Denim

Come enjoy a night of music, hors d'oeurves, drinks, and games while supporting a great cause. On Nov. 11, the Y will be hosting its annual Divas in Denim event to raise money for the Strong Kids financial assitance program. The live auction event will be held at 6:30 p.m. at Wellington Place Downtown. The band Pearl will also be performing live. Ladies are asked to dress up and men are asked to wear jeans. Holdiay Child Care Art Workshop

November 11 and November 23: Join the Y Arts Academy for special holiday arts workshops while school is out. Kids in the Holiday Child Care Program will be picked up from their program, and all others can just come to the art room.

Projects: Nov. 11-large acrylic painting on canvas, with mixed media added, Nov. 23-Funky Junk Sculpture (block heads).

Registration is required for each day.

Fees: Family Member Fee $5, Participant Fee $5

Times: 10-11:15 a.m.

Kid's Night Out

November 11: Kid's Night Out is a program for community children ages 1-12. Parents, drop your children off at the Pat Jones YMCA at 6 p.m. on the second Friday of each month for fun, inflatables, swimming, crafts, dinner and drinks, games, and more while you go out. 
Costs: YMCA members $10/child*, Non-members $15/child*

*dinner included

Time: 6-9 p.m.

Children ages 1-2 will be in the gym & will not swim.
Children ages 3-12 that will be swimming, bring suit.

Private Sports Lessons

Private Basketball and Volleyball Lessons available now at the YMCA. Purchase one hour lessons individually or in a bundle. Your first lesson with the Y is half off.

Holiday Boot Camp

Join the holiday boot camp to combat the stress and smorgasbord of food during the holidays! This boot camp will challenge you to get fit and stay fit during the time of year when most people on average gain five pounds! Set goals, get your body fat measurements taken, sweat, and have fun in this six week program. A healthy recipePersonal Trainer and diet/nutrition tip will be given weekly. Register at the Welcome Center.
