CHILDREN/YOUTH PROGRAMS
Monett and Cassville Summer Odyssey
If you have not already signed your child up for Summer Odyssey it’s not too late. There are still many more fun trips and adventures to come this summer. In July and August we have the following themes planned: Tribute to America, Week of the Arts, Race Week, Christmas in July, Water Week, and Chocolate Week. Each week will have its own memorable moments. Any child between the grades of last year’s Kindergarten through last year’s 6th grade is welcome to attend. Enrollment forms are still available at the Y or online under schedules at Monettymca.org. There are still spots open for each week for now, but don’t be the one to miss out because you waited too long to sign your child up.

Your summer adventure starts at Camp Wakonda. We offer week-long overnight camp experiences for grades 2nd -9th. The 2011 year will be an exciting year for camp Wakonda as we welcome our new pool facility and an improved program. Campers will learn about themselves, the environment, and gain new skills. They will build new friendships with both cabin mates and counselors. Camp Wakonda allows campers to experience God and the Y mission in a pristine outdoor environment where they feel close to God's perfect creation. They'll have a great time playing games, climbing on the tower, swimming in the pool, and just being kids.
