Jones Family Christian Committee
Bible studies are held every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month from 8:30am-9:00am in the board room. The Healthy Soles Prayer walk is right after the bible study on the 1st Wednesday of the month at 9:00am. We take our prayer requests and praises down and walk the track praying for them.

Girls on the Run
 We recognize Krispy Kreme as a contributor for our Girls on the Run participation in the Kitchen Fun Run. They provided donuts for all of our girls and their families for their graduation after the Kitchen Run on Sat. May 8. 72 of our girls participated in the run.

Downtown YMCA Enrichment Camps The Downtown YMCA is offering three different enrichment camps that give children hands on fun and allow kids to express themselves in a variety of ways. · All camps will meet Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday from 1pm-5:30pm- but the Dates for each camp are different. · All registration fees end the Friday before the program starts at 12pm. · Cost for all camps is $75 for members and $100 for non members. · All kids will have a yummy snack each day and a cool t-shirt to remember the camp by. · For more information about any of the camps, contact the Downtown YMCA at 862-7456

Camp 3: "Write This Way." This camp will give youth grades 4th-6th hands-on experience communicating in new and creative ways through photo voice, digital signage, urban nature writing and journalism. Family Night This is a special night for families to spend time together. The rock wall is reserved for family climbing while board games are set up in the teen zone. Please mark your calendar - The next 417 Idea Home will be the first two weekends in June 2011. This home is in the Springfield area and it Is spectacular!
Please plan to come out and volunteer again! Proceeds will benefit the YMCA financial assistance program. Over the past two years the generous folks at 417 magazine have donated $8,000 to help children and families with financial assistance. We thank 417 magazine and all our terrific volunteers who have made it possible.
