6th Annual Downtown Holiday Lighting Festival
xmas lights1The 6th Annual Downtown Holiday Lighting Festival will be held Friday, November 19, 2010 in and around City Hall.

Activities during this family event include the Mayor's Christmas tree lighting ceremony, a neighborhood group Christmas tree decorating contest, entertainment by local school and community groups, the Mayor's reception, an appearance by Santa Claus, classic holiday movies in the commission chambers, and (weather permitting, of course) a hot air balloon night glow.  In addition, over 1,200 goodie bags will be given away that night to children ranging from preschool to grade school age thanks to our many sponsors.
