I'm Ready to Save a Life!
While waiting for the CPR Class to start, I was thinking of all the projects sitting on my desk at work.  I had a few deadlines (including this newsletter), then the thought strikes me, "What if my Dad collapsed in front of me?"  What would I do?  How long would it take for someone to help him?  How desperate would I feel at that exact moment??

my familyI realized right then that the work on my desk could wait.  My Dad comes first!  Granted, I truly hope that I'm never in the spot where I need to use CPR.  But, if I am...

Season Opening
Alcott Arts Center is celebrating their season opening with an art exhibit of the Wyandot Art Association's members in April, with a reception on April 10, at 6:30 pm - 10:00 pm.  Members participating are:  Diane DeMint with 3D abstracts,  Donna Suther with decorative paintings, Zada Vogel with pencil drawings, Vice President Jan Kobe with children's books-type paintings, realistist Marie Bohndorf with her award-winning photographs, and Betty Selbe with realistic paintings.  Most works of art will be for sale.

The Wyandot Art Association is a non-profit organization founded in 1965 by a small group of local artists who share common interests and goals in the Kansas City area.  Today, the Association operates on the same premise with emphasis on promoting fine art and to encourage the individual artist, while advancing visual arts in general.
