Greetings!

Summer may be a relaxing and rejuvenating time for many church musicians, but for those ALCM members involved in summer conferences, things are hopping! As this e-newsletter is being put together, the Region 2 conference in Austin is winding down and the Region 3 conference in St. Peter is ready to begin. If you have not already registered for one of the regional conferences, we hope that you'll take advantage of the variety of offerings that are taking place around the country. Links and additional information regarding the events are listed below.

Enjoy the summer!

ALCM Members Published

ChildrenSing in Worship Vol. 2Congratulations to ALCM members Cynthia Anderson, Nancy Raabe, and Tom Keesecker, whose compositions were included in ChildrenSing in Worship, Vol. 2, Augsburg Fortress' most recent volume in the "ChildrenSing" series. One of Nancy's pieces included in the volume ("All Things Are Possible with God") was previously posted on the ALCM web site. Because it has now been published, copies downloaded from the ALCM site are no longer legal copies. If you wish to continue using this piece, please purchase a copy of ChildrenSing in Worship, Vol. 2.

Do you have not-yet-published music that you would like to share with other ALCM members? Email it to office@alcm.org and we will post it. You can check out the submission guidelines on our web site for more information. We've also started a new category of material in the Members Area called "Previously Posted, Now Published." If you submit a piece for posting on the web site and it is later published, we'll list it in that category with links to the publisher's listing.

ALCM Annual Fund Drive Underway

ALCM has a mission to reach its goal of a 100 percent giving rate - 100 percent member giving, that is. We want everyone to give something to the ALCM 2012 Annual Fund - whether $5 or $5,000.

Why is this so important? When all members give to the Annual Fund, it makes a strong outward statement to our constituents. It says that ALCM members care about their profession, the mission of ALCM, and their colleagues. Annual Fund giving expresses our desire to extend ALCM's program possibilities and to engage committed musicians and pastors in the inspiring art of worship.

If you have not yet made your contribution, please prayerfully consider a gift to the ALCM Annual Fund. Your gift makes a true difference in what we can accomplish together.
