Shortcuts for Word

You type a letter, you write an email message, you edit what you just wrote. With Microsoft Word, your fingers are on the keyoard of your computer most of the time.

Take advantage of this.

Learn how to get your letters and messages completed faster by using keyboard shortcuts. Learn how to quickly select words, sentences and paragraphs without having to reach for your mouse!

If you use a laptop computer to compose and edit your documents, you know how tricky it can be to control your mouse - particularly if you are on a bumply plane or train. Shortcuts for Excel

I recently updated my chart of "Popular Keyboard Shortcuts for Excel. It is a five page document the the tasks are organized into 20 categories.

When I train clients to get the most out of Excel, many of my students are amazed at how much faster they get their work completed when they use keyboard shortcuts in Excel. They especially like the shortcuts for selecting large blocks of cells. If you are typical of most Excel users, you have experienced the frustration of dragging your mouse down thousands of rows to select all of the cells in a column - and you usually over-select or under-select these cells.

Put a stop to your frustration. Learn the keyboard shortcut to quickl y select all of the cells in a contiguous grouping. You can thank me for this tip later.
