May 2012April Showers Bring May Flowers...
The hardest part of summer veggie gardening is getting it planted. It took me three weekends in a row to get mine done. I'm at the easy stage of the game right now...waiting and weeding on a weekly basis. I can hardly wait for the yummy part when I get to harvest all the goodies: 3 kinds of tomatoes, 4 kinds of lettuce, herbs, 2 kinds of onions, 4 kinds of squash, carrots, radishes, kale, collards, eggplant 3 rows of beans and brussel sprouts!
I moved into my new location on NE 172nd A ve in January. I have been waiting for the shrubbery outside my unit to bloom before I take some nice pictures. (the bushes were all brown and ugly up until about two weeks ago.) I have not downloaded the pics from my digital camera yet to show you the signage on 172nd or on Halsey. Both are in red and read Massage Therapy!
There are a few new Arbonne items in stock now. I have the Unwind Bath Salts and have also decided to try the Seasource Detox Spa. Both of these bath salt soaks are excellent for the tired, stressed, achy body. Some long awaited good news....I have a new topical analgesic in stock now too. I have it in a small 4 oz size. If all goes well and everyone likes how effective it is in helping with pain management in between your massage therapy, I will order the larger 8 oz sizes next time.
Angela Keinholz is my featured artist from May to the end of July. Her work is photography. This is Angela's debut display and I am pleased to host this for her. Come travel the world with Angela's photography of Doors, Windows, Flowers and Fences. The display is quite impressive and very beautiful. Don't miss it! My next essential oils class will be May 14th, 2012 (click on the link for more details) at 6:00pm at RE~a coffee pub located at the corner of NE Halsey and NE 172nd Ave. The topic for this class will be "How Safe Is Our Medicine?" Classes are FREE. Also: Michael, the proprietor of RE, tells me that he will keep the soup on and the kitchen open to make hot sandwiches if you want to come for dinner while attending these free classes.

I alwa ys have Raindrop Treatments available. These are good for more than just keeping the cold and flu germs in check. The Original Raindrop Treatment is excellent for exhaustion, fatigue, feeling blue or a little run-down and have been proven to be an excellent pre-surgery treatment. I have a totally pleasurable remedy to alleviate stress and anxiety. Massage in Portland Oregon is the ultimate relaxation. With so many people suffering stress, anxiety and depression it eludes me as to why massage therapy benefits remains a big secret.
The healing hands of massage therapy - the human touch has incredible powers to release the tension, anxiety and stress in the body. Most people never take the opportunity to experience this modality of encouraging the body to self-heal. Most people do not treat the body as a temple. Most people don't know how to take care of the temple.
Left unchecked...stress (a silent killer) manifests in the body to the point of anxiousness in the mind. Anxiety accumulates to such levels in the brain that depression affects the spirit.
It is a linear path with stress: Stress ð Tension ð Anxiety ð Depression
It is a simple equation: Anxiety = tension + stress
Eliminate the stress from the equation via massage therapy. Empower the body to correct itself naturally. Believe it or not...the number one benefit of massage therapy is that it has the capacity to add longevity to life. There is much to be acclaimed to the term "relaxation".
