Remember all the hand knitted and crocheted items from last month that I wanted to clear out of my spare room? I donated everything (12 huge boxes full to the brim) to LOT WHITCOMB ELEMENTARY SCHOOL at 7400 SE Thompson Rd, Milwaukie, OR 97222. They are having a super fundraiser event on 6/6/09 to support the afterschool programs. It is their first Hawaiian Luau Fundraiser! Please join the great afternoon fun activities including building volcanoes, making a flower lei, Ahola bingo, silent auction of donated items and much more. (The items I donated are newborn, baby, child and adult sweaters, outfits and accessories. Something is there for everyone!) Delicious Hawaiian food will be served and the CAFE Hula girls will be performing their wonderful traditional dances. I hope you all attend and support this worthy cause. I chose one that has not accepted any "bail-out" monies and therefore am not contributing to your "invisible tax" called inflation. In the set-up of my new business account, I am working on being able to accept credit card payments for massage therapy to make it easier and convenient for my clients (you). I know it is difficult sometimes to swing by an ATM to get cash and sometimes even I leave my check book behind. I will keep you posted as to when I am "connected" to the grid for merchant status.
- I have been working on my website. Changes are coming. Have you ever noticed when you bookmark a site that you like to visit often that it has a customized icon next to the listing in your address book? I was curious about those cute little things. I want one. I am getting one! Whitedragontherapies.com will soon have a little white dragon icon attached when you bookmark my website. I am working on getting one for my essential oil website too. Essentialeverydayoils.com's icon is still in the design stage. But rest assured...it will be appropriate and beautiful.
- I am working on a
series of classes that will begin in the fall. These classes will be
for detoxing the body by naturally cleansing one organ at a time, seasonally. It seems that my personal vendetta against ill health has inspired my desire to share with everyone how to obtain good health without allopathic medicine. There was a time, long ago, when humans round the world used to take care of themselves in this fashion. This method was successful then and is still viable today. It is my goal to provide fortitude, knowledge and encourage free-will.
I will be conducting two Essential Oil Funshops in June. These classes will be at the Glisan Street location from 3:00pm - 5:00pm on Saturdays. Massages from White Dragon Therapies are customized to the clients' specific needs. Appointments are preferred for this personal attention. Courteous Cancellations of a 24 hour notice is greatly appreciated.
I offer out-call services (Have Table, Will Travel!). Out-calls are available for the elderly, injured, handicapped, and house-bound for an additional $15.00 travel fee. Please call to make arrangements for your out-call massage in as much advance request as possible. Please make note that my out-call massages do not include any hot stone therapy.
I accept cash (FRN or Liberty Dollars), cashier's checks, money orders & personal checks from established clientele. I take Worker's Compensation and MVA/PIP claims/cases at both locations.
