Swedish Relaxation Massage

one hour full body relaxation massage for $65.00. *At the Halsey St. location you may choose from 3 custom blended oils with essential oils or from 3 blended oils without (unscened, but still beneficial) essential oils.
Therapeutic Focus
Swedish techniques are also used for therapeutic focus treatments
and pain management. Focus
treatment sessions are $35.00 for the first half hour, then $15.00 for every
subsequent quarter hour if needed or desired. Hot Stone Deep Tissue Focus Treatment
Hot stones allow for fast pain relief with none of the stress and
discomfort from conventional Swedish massage deep tissue techniques.
Muscles, tendons and ligaments that are super tight and sore from over
use and /or injuries and Trigger Points can relax with the hot stone's soothing heat providing instant pain relief.
Muscles, tendons and ligaments are afforded a window of pain-free
healing afterwards! Hot Stone Deep Tissue Focus Treatments are inclusive with your massage at Dr. Reddin's office. Please note that this is now my only modality of administering any type of deep tissue massage therapy.
Arbonne Unwind
Kiss that stressful day good-bye with this one hour full
body aromatherapy massage for $70.00.
Gentle Swedish effleurage and petrissage techniques are used to
encourage those tired, aching muscles to relax and let go of the tension with
the calming, soothing benefits of Arbonne Unwind moisturizing massage oil. A

About My Oils
White Dragon Therapies provides custom blended massage oils. My oils are blended one bottle at a time to ensure maximum potency. They are not mass blended or stored because my clients deserve to receive the most benefits from these proprietary blends. I use all natural ingredients to ensure my clients have the best. I offer three massage oil choices that are aroma-therapeutic (blended base oils infused with herbs and specially selected essential oils) and three massage oil choices that are unscented (blended base oils with natural vitamins) that are therapeutic as well. For those that have sensitive skin and prefer a pure, safe and beneficial oil, I have available Arbonne Baby Oil. This product contains no mineral oil.

Here's some fabulous news: The mini-set of hot stones at Dr. Reddin's office has been a huge success. I am pleased to see that this hot stone therapy is helping so many folks gain relief from pain with my "miracle stones"!
I have been concerned about my initial plan of charging an add-on fee of $15.00 for providing the hot stone deep tissue focus treatments. I too am very concientious about costs and affordability of services & care that are beneficial to me and doing this would raise a one hour regular massage to a whopping $75.00 ! (ouch)
After much thought and consideration about how to continue to provide this wonderful treatment for pain releif for everyone (more specifically...how to not charge the additional $15.00 for the hot stone deep tissue focus treatments) and keep it inclusive with your massage, I will raise my one hour massage fees to $65.00 and the half hour massage fees to $35.00.
This rate increase will become effective April 1, 2008. In an effort to be fair in providing ample notice of this rate change instead of springing this on everyone at the last minute, this month (March) I will extend the February special and continue to offer the hot stones for free -- there will be no extra charge for doing deep tissue pain releif therapy! I love massage therapy. Helping you feel better and get well is so incredibly gratifying to me. You folks are so good to me and I am happy to be of service to you. Hot Stone Massage
This massage is the ultimate experience
of total relaxation for $100.00. This
is an hour long full body massage similar to LaStone Therapy (with the use of
Essential Oil House Blend optional). The
client must be able to tolerate a higher level of heat directed at specific
points and portions of the body. This massage is choreographed to perfectly time the full body massage so the client receives the personal attention and full benefits of the therapeutic heat.
This relaxation session begins with a hot herbal tea to drink that
kick-starts the internal warming process. Basalt stones are heated to no more than 120 degrees -- this temp. is entirely adjustable to client tolerance -- and used directly on the client's skin. These stones become an extension of the massage therapists hands -- the stones are used to "massage" the muscles. Stones for sacrum, belly,
spine, hand, heart, face, upper trapezius, occiput, and toes are also placed on
the client's body throughout the course of the massage. Basalt scapula stones
may also be applied and utilized to release tension/adhesions in the shoulder
area.
There is a half hour mandatory
"cooling" period following this massage where the client is allowed to sit
quietly while sipping chilled mineral water to assist the body in bringing the core temperature back to normal. (WARNING!: Anticipate never wanting "just" a Swedish
Relaxation Massage ever again!)

Hot/Cold Stone Massage
is a full body deep tissue healing for $180.00. It is a two hour long choreographed massage
designed to treat deep tissue "issues" and promote healing in muscles that are
injured, over-worked and stressed.
(Note: This is an excellent
therapy for maintaining healthy
muscle support for atletes and people who have physically demanding jobs.) This unique bodywork technique is changing the
way therapists and the industry looks at massage with hot and cold stones. Hot
basalt (water heated to the client's level of tolerance) stones are used in
combination with Prossage Heat massage oil and
worked over one area of the body at a time to stimulate the healing
process. Immediately following the hot
basalt stones are cold marble stones (previously frozen and kept on ice during the masage session) over the same area to promote vascular
stimulation. This method of stone
massage creates a short window of tissue repair --for those aches and pains-- for maximum well-being while bringing the muscle tissue and body temperature back into balance encouraging the body to work to heal itself. Mind, body and spirit can sustain a healthy homeostasis.

I offer out-call services (Have Table, Will Travel!). Out-calls are available for the elderly, injured, handicapped, and house-bound for an additional $15.00 travel fee. Please call to make arrangements for your out-call massage in as much advance request as possible.
I accept cash, cashier's checks, money orders, (personal checks from established clientele). Kaiser Insurance billing is available at Dr. Reddin's office along with W/C and MVA claims. |
