When we pray, we must believe what we pray and believe that those things we
ask for will be answered (see Matthew 21:22).
Faith-filled prayers accomplish much. God looks for faith, is moved by faith, is
pleased by faith, and it is the foundation by which love works. It is in prayer
without being anxious, with supplication (petitioning) and THANKSGIVING, that
our requests are made known to God. Then the peace that goes beyond our ability
to understand will guard our hearts and minds (see Philippians 4:6).
We are not to be a fearful people, but a people who have faith in the One who
fights the battle for us. We are unafraid to move into action. GOD IS STILL IN
CONTROL. Throughout Scripture, we see how God brought unrighteous kings to their
knees, promoting His own people at critical times of crisis. He has not changed.
God has people in mind to bring before kings and deliver godly counsel
and wisdom at strategic times.
2 Chronicles 16:9 says, "For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole
earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. In
this you have done foolishly; therefore from now on you shall have
wars."
God is looking for a people who will listen to Him, walk in faith,
and act immediately.
Blessings!

COME OUT FROM AMONG THEM AND BE YE SEPARATE, SAITH THE LORD.
As Christ
walks among the Church today, He sees the worldliness that has crept in. He
sees those professing to be His who are bound by worldly desires, and live
according to the world's standards, instead of living their lives in accordance
with His Word.
The time is
at hand, beloved! By His Spirit, Christ is calling us to take a strong stand--to
separate ourselves from the things of this world that would draw us away from
Him. The time has come when a line is being drawn between "sideline compromisers"--those who have compromised with the world--and those who are consumed with a
desire to follow Christ, regardless of the cost.
The time has
come when we must examine our lives to see if we have allowed worldly desires
and things of this world to take root in our lives. John wrote, "Love not the
world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the
love of the Father is not in him." (I John 2:15).
What about
your life? Have you allowed worldly desires, worldly attitudes, and a love for
the things that are part of this world to have a place in your heart?
If you have,
now is the time for you to prepare yourself for Christ's coming, by crucifying
those worldly desires, and separating yourself from the things of the world
that are drawing you away from your wholehearted commitment to Christ.
There are
Christians today, who are so bound by doubt and fear, that they will not take a
strong stand for righteousness because they are afraid of opposition or
persecution that they may face. It's time, beloved, for the Church of Jesus
Christ to stand boldly against the ungodly standards of the world, and set the
example of righteousness and holiness!
We cannot
allow the world to overcome us. We must overcome the world! John wrote, "for
everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that overcomes
the world, even our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who
believes that Jesus is the Son of God" (I
John 5:4-5).
Are you overcoming the world?
