We have entered into a new season and God want's to restore to you all that the devil has stolen from you. Right now, stop whatever you are doing and declare " Lord release, Lord restore" eight times.
When I received that declaration in spirit, I thought I was imagining things. However, a few days later, I received a call from one of my most trusted friend and mother in the Lord and she was telling me that the Lord spoke the very same words to her. Later that week I attended a 5- day prophetic prayer meeting, where the guest speaker was an anointed prophet of God from Ghana.
On the last day of the meetings, he called me out and spoke a word over my life and said that God was about to restore to me all that the devil had stolen from me. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 13:1 "In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established." and it also says in 2 Chronicles 20:20 "Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper." So I received that word and realized that God was trying to confirm His word to me on restoration. That was when I decided to do a study from the Bible on restoration.
One of my favorite stories of restoration is found in 2 Kings 4:8-37. This is the story of the Shunamite woman who was very rich and influential but had no child. While the prophet Elisha was a guest in her home, he promised her a child. After she received the promised child, he died. In a powerful moment of restoration, the prophet Elisha raised him from the dead and gave him back to his mother.
Her story continues in 2 Kings 8:1-6. The Lord calls for a seven year famine in the land and the prophet Elisha says to the Shunamite woman to leave and find a place for her household elsewhere until the famine ends. The woman obeys Elisha and her and her household move to the land of the Philistines for seven years.
After the seven years, she returns from the land of the Philistines to appeal to the King for her house and land. As she is going, God intervenes in her situation. It happened that at the particular moment, the King was talking with Gehazi, Elisha's servant asking him to tell him the great things that Elisha had done. As Gehazi was telling the King how the woman's son was restored to life, there she was standing in their midst. After she confirms what happened, the King restores to her all that was hers, including the interest which was earned on the land from the time she left until the time of her restoration.
Now, that is what I call "being at the right place at the right time." You see, timing is very important. This woman stepped out of a land of lack and poverty into a land of abundance, all in one day! God's timing is key for you to receive what has been promised to you. Are there things that you have been praying and believing for that are yet to come to pass? Has the devil stolen anything from you? Like the Shunamite woman, take action, go before the King and appeal for the things that the devil has stolen from you. Hebrews 4:16 says "Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need."
So what are you waiting for? Now is the time for you to shout "restore!"
Blessings!
