Greetings in the name of our blessed Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, We are so very thankful for the Lord's continued blessings, provision and faithfulness. He who is the same yesterday, today and forever - is the very definition of faithfulness In two months, we will join together with some of you who have been a part of this ministry, to give thanks and to celebrate our Lord's faithfulness and enduring love. The theme for our Celebration Dinners is taken from 1 Corinthians, chapter 13 - known by most of us who have attended wedding ceremonies, as the "Love Chapter." After a long list of what the true attributes of love are, it ends with three words -- "Love never fails." For those of us here, on the ground in Haiti, those three words speak volumes. Since the beginning of our service in Haiti, His love has been demonstrated time and time again. We have seen His love daily in His unceasing patience with us. As we seek to do His will but don't always make the best decisions, He still continues to love us. As our children struggle with past hurts, pain and disappointments, they are constantly reassured of His love and that He will always and did always love them. When we have thrown up our hands in total frustration -- seeming to have no options left -- His resounding commandment rings supreme - "Love one another." We used to think that when all else fails, love! Right? No. We've learned the reverse is true - love first and they'll be no failures. We are learning daily that that is so very true. The more of God's love we pour into His precious little children the more of Him that pours out of them. The most beautiful love - Agape love - manifests in His faithfulness. We see the fruit of His amazing perfect love all around us -- in the eyes of a child. God bless you. In Christ's Love in Haiti, The Manasseros |
