Have you looked out at the moon tonight? This month's moon is called the "Pink Moon" by the Farmer's Almanac. Coincidentally, my pandora has been playing Pink Moon by Nick Drake, a lovely folk song I adore, daily for the last week.  

Other names for April's full moon include seed moon, awakening moon & growing moon. Awakening Moon is a perfect name at this time of year-when the plants, trees & flowers are finally waking up after a long cold winter. Incidentally, the name pink moon refers to the vibrant color of flowers, (examples- moss pink or ground phlox), rather than the color of the moon...but when the moon is tinged pink, how beautiful is that? Speaking of beauty, the moon is in Libra, the sign of justice, romance & harmonious relationships. But lets not forget beauty- Librans need beauty like they need air to breathe. This leaves them the most charming, attractive, fair minded & loving of all. Kisses to all you Librans out there!!

Dr. Masaru Emoto speaks of the messages in water. The culmination of the visit from the Tibetan monks was the deconstruction of the peace mandala with the sands put into a nearby body of water. The belief is that the water carries the energy of the intentions. And Albert Szent-Gyorgy states that "Water is life's  Mater & Matrix, Mother & Medium. There is no life without water".

 An ancient healing modality has always been the bath. Soaking in warm waters infused with sea salts, essential oils, flowers & herbs & crystals brings a sense of peace.  When you lie back and visualize what you want the bath to bring into your life, that is intention, that is energy.  You may imagine the unwanted, traveling down the drain carried by the water.  Or the good, reminding us that just like the moon, we too are always undergoing transformation.  As I write this I hear the waves crashing, the great goddesses of the sea sending their own messages to those who are willing to listen.
