Looking out the window while writing this message, I have to admit it really does look like a fairytale. There's a thick white snow blanket laid over our street and beyond. Thick icicles hang from the cottage roof & gutters. But with the closed streets & snarled traffic, it doest seems like I have been trapped in this "winterland" forever. Most importantly (at least to me), I have not been able to get to the ocean at all.

This deep chill & blizzard with its' contrasting stark beauty became a deep reminder to me that winter, as all seasons, is truly a gift from the Goddess. Therefore I resolve to try to embrace winter as much as I can while dreaming of spring.
