Hello everyone!
Today the ocean is a realm of liquid magic & a pure delight for my senses. Tonight my feet sunk in the cool sand as I head to the waters edge. Delectably balmy weather with a wonderful breeze!! Perfect night for a full moon.
On the coast, our season has been blessed so far with a bounteous collection of flowers & days of sunshine. Heady floral scents mingle with the salty sea air, while the scrub pines stand at attention near the dunes.
And though the days doze lazily on, they ARE growing shorter and I am once again reminded that summer, part of the eternal cycle, cannot last. However, I can look forward to a long Indian Summer. Mindful of all summer has to offer-I am so grateful.

I was so very lucky to see His Holiness, The Dalai Lama, last month at Lehigh University. (People came from every continent except Antarctica to attend the teachings & ceremony, the most extensive teaching of his text presented in North America).I've studies the life & writings of the Dalai Lama, and have come to believe that he is one of the greatest spiritual leaders & wisest humans of our generation.Words cannot describe what I took away from the experience.
Peace & Hope exude& shine from his very soul. "I am just one human being," the Dalai Lama said "Among 6 billion human beings. We all share one planet. We all survive under one sun."
Calling the 20th century "a century of war," the Dalai Lama said: "The 21st century should be a century of dialogue." His Holiness called on people to cultivate love and compassion in their own hearts, and to embrace non-violence as the only way to ultimately solve problems in the world. We are one people on one earth and need to work together, live together, and love together
