ATCO & Edmonton Sun Christmas Charity Auction

It’s one of the biggest auctions of its kind in Edmonton and distributes all the funds raised equally to the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation, Edmonton Christmas Bureau, Catholic Social Services' Sign of Hope, and the United Way of the Capital Region.

Approximately 200 quality auction packages worth $500-$30,000 can be followed in the Edmonton Sun's special section. Bids can be phoned in or placed online at www.campusauctionmarket.com where photos and donor information are available.

Sands Hotel “Tour of Terror”

A fun-filled evening full of Halloween activities, including a Tour of Terror. Tickets are available for $10 each; with half of the ticket proceeds benefitting the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation.

Shoppers Tree of Life

Shoppers Drug Mart is raising funds to support maternal research at the Women and Children’s Health Research Institute through the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation. The research discovered here will benefit mothers around the world.

Help them build a Tree of Life and purchase a leaf for $1, butterfly for $5 or cardinal for $50.

Some of the recent research includes: treatment of migraines in children and adolescents; effects of dietary fructose on pregnancy and infant outcomes; trauma during pregnancy . . . all for the benefit of a healthy future.

Cotton Club

October 29, 2010, presented by Marriott at River Cree Resort and RE/MAX "A night at the Cotton Club" will take guests to the fabled Harlem cabaret in 1928, complete with great music, incredible food, and above all excellent entertainment. In the 20s and 30s the Cotton Club was the place to be for the most influential, famous, elite and notorious of New York's elite. For one night only, the era will be back.

Stollery Family Day Classic

The First Annual Stollery 4 vs. 4 Family Day Weekend Tournament will take place February 18 - 21, 2011. In conjunction with the South Edmonton Blades Skating Club, the event is being organized in support of the Stollery Children's Hospital in Edmonton and minor hockey in Edmonton, with the proceeds going to both. Call 1-877-30-SKATE to register as a team or individual. This incredible tournament will feature Novice, Atom, PeeWee and Bantam categories in both Elite and Recreational Divisions. There will be a 4 game minimum for all teams. All games will be held at the brand new Terwillegar Community Recreation Centre. This tournament will be sold out.
