| Intellectual Property (IP) Theft Report | | |
From the National IP Rights Coordination Center
Are you interested in expanding your market reach internationally but afraid of IP-related theft?
Manufacturers in particular must protect trade secrets, such as engineering and design of parts or products, customer lists, proprietary software, or business models from both domestic and international IP theft offenders. Interestingly, a recently released report from the National Intellectual Property Rights Coordination Center found that trade secret theft is more often committed here in the U.S.(84% of all cases), whereas China-related offenders are the most common threat of the remaining 16%.
The Center's 99-page report analyzed the global threat to United States interests from all kinds of criminal IP violations. Read the report here.
CAMT strategic partner ISU Insurance offers IP Abatement and Defense insurance to protect against such threats. To learn if your company may be at risk and available solutions, view the CAMT/ ISU Insurance IP Insurance: Protect Your Patents recorded webinar.
For more info from ISU Insurance about IP insurance, contact ISU VP David Adams.
