Exporting Strategies in USITC Report | |
 The U.S. International Trade Commission has released a report that:- compares the exporting activities of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the United States with those of SMEs in the European Union (EU);
- describes barriers and trade costs associated with exporting, as well as strategies to reduce these barriers and costs;
- and identifies the benefits to U.S. SMEs from improvements to the exporting environment resulting from free trade agreements (FTAs) and other trading arrangements.
The report also contains seven export case studies for specific industries, including medical device, textile, chemical and nanotechnology manufacturing.
