Exporting Strategies in USITC Report
ITC logoThe U.S. International Trade Commission has released a report that:
  • compares the exporting activities of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the United States with those of SMEs in the European Union (EU);
  • describes barriers and trade costs associated with exporting, as well as strategies to reduce these barriers and costs;
  • and identifies the benefits to U.S. SMEs from improvements to the exporting environment resulting from free trade agreements (FTAs) and other trading arrangements.
The report also contains seven export case studies for specific industries, including medical device, textile, chemical and nanotechnology manufacturing.

Sturman Industries and Operation Free Partnership

Sturman Industries and Operation Free Partner For Clean Energy

Sturman Industries, a Colorado manufacturer of advanced digital valves that improve engine efficiency and reduce fuel usage, and Operation Free, a coalition of veterans and national security organizations striving to secure America with clean energy, have partnered to advocate for a new and improved American energy policy that leads to energy independence and combats climate change.

On September 30th, Operation Free and Sturman Industries sponsored race car driver Leilani Munter at the Kansas Lottery 150 race to highlight the "Race to Energy Independence." The sponsorship brought attention to climate change and energy dependence as national security threats that must be addressed with technology, policy and action. The unique partnership between Sturman and Operation Free aims to raise awareness and spur action for real energy change in America.
