17th Annual Provincial Skills Competition!

This is the week of the Provincial Skills Competition!
The Provincial Skills Competition brings together over 600 high school and post-secondary students from across the province, to compete in 40 trade and technology competitions from a variety of industry sectors.
Career-seekers will see a diverse cross section of options, from culinary arts to web design, and computer animation to auto service. The Career Path Showcase will take place in tandem with the Skills Competition, and will feature 60 different trade and technology-based businesses, associations and educational institutions. This career fair includes over 30 hands-on demonstrations, including interactive Try-A-Trades®, which provide spectators an opportunity to try their hand at a skill while connecting with industry experts, employers, labour groups and technical institutes. Admission and parking are free.
