CSR Program

We Invite you to join!

Starving Artist Café is Arkansas' first Community Supported Restaurant (CSR), where supporters join and become members through the purchase of CSR cards that are then redeemed at the restaurant. The concept is borrowed from the nationally popular community supported agriculture (CSA) model.

Members of the community purchase CSR cards for $500 or $1000 each.  CSR members can enjoy up to $42 worth of food, drink, and gratuity per month for 12 months for a $500 CSR card, and $84 per month for 12 months for a $1000 CSR card. Members get hassle free dining, and Starving Artist Café keeps track of all spending and paperwork. Members can include individuals or businesses, and you can purchase as many CSR cards as you like. CSR cards are transferable and balances can be carried forward to the next year.

Starving Artist Café is a family-owned and operated, community-minded restaurant that offers delicious food at affordable prices, supports local artists, and provides a community gathering place. We only order American sustainable fish and shrimp, Arkansas rice, and top quality American meats. We work closely with local farmers and growers, and sauté with olive and canola oil, with no deep fat frying. Along with offering lunch and dinner Tuesday-Saturday, Starving Artist Café also provides space for artists to both sell and create their works. Events at the café include writing classes, children's art classes, movie premiers, wedding ceremonies, music video and independent film recordings, yoga classes, book release parties, art openings, and much more.

To ensure the continuation of quality food and excellent service to serve the community, Starving Artist Café is inviting you to join our CSR program. Contact Paula for additional information and/or the application.
