Cameron Holifield
Opening and Reception
Originally from Searcy, Cameron Holifield moved to Stifft Station in mid-town Little Rock 5 years ago. A Mechanical Engineer at Porbeck Engineering, he recently started showing in cafes and galleries around town and has generated quite a buzz.
Holifield presents personal and stylized works on paper, complex drawings that are painstakingly detailed and highly refined. His meticulous attention to detail and texture accent his mastery and control of technique. The collage and comicbook-style pieces are like stop motion animation meets a finely rendered renaissance cartoon. His pencil drawings of women in motion appear photographic, even when you are standing inches away from the fingers wrapped around the coffee cup.
Come meet the Artist, have some wine and hors d'ouvres, and buy some art Tuesday, October 13 from 6-8 pm on Starving Artist Cafe's Patio.
Holifield will be Starving Artist Cafe's Featured Artist until November 18.

The Argenta Downtown Council and Certified Arkansas Farmers Market invite you to the Argenta Fall Foodie Festival from 9-2 on Saturday, October 17th in the historic Argenta Arts District in downtown North Little Rock. The Festival will be held along Main Street between 6th and 7th Streets and will feature over 20 of Arkansas' favorite restaurants and catering companies. Chefs will create their own specialties utilizing locally grown produce and meats. Come and enjoy live music, arts and crafts vendors and fresh, locally grown food at the Farmers Market. If you are coming down for the Race for the Cure, this is the perfect after party.
Starving Artist Cafe' will be selling delicious soups at Foodie Fest, and we'll be open for lunch a the cafe' starting at 11am and all through the afternoon. Hope to see you!
