Creative Writing Class: Starts June 15
Open the door to your own unique voice and vision!
Whether you are working on a current project, want to
start your first story or poem, or are experiencing
writer's block, this course is for anyone who enjoys
writing. Through journaling, freewriting, in-class and
take-home writing exercises, and sharing your work
with your classmates, you will join a community of
writers, explore and find new topics to write about, and
get the creative juices flowing to stretch yourself as a
writer. Tap into your own creativity in a supportive
environment. Genres include fiction, poetry, and
creative non-fiction.

Summer Wine Dinners
It's that time of year: time for our Summer Wine Dinner
Series. We will be offering a wine dinner on the fourth
Wednesday of June, July, and August, each one
featuring the culinary delights of Chef Jason paired
with incredible wines. These sell out quickly, so be
sure to reserve early.

Set Your Creative Spirit Free!
Pulaski Technical College will host two professional
development workshop for teachers, instructors, and
anyone who wants to set his or her creative spirits
free. The workshops are free and open to the public.

2338. Participants will receive a certificate of
completion for attending. Pulaski Technical College is
approved by the Arkansas Department of Education to

Invoking Your Muse: Creative Writing

with different art forms along with writing, you will
discover how to tap into creativity, develop a supportive
environment, explore and find new topics to write
about, and get the creative juices flowing to stretch

Continue what you have learned in the creative writing
workshop and make literature come alive for your
students with drama-based instructional strategies.
Using theatre games and movement activities, you
will learn how to take stories from the page to the
stage...even if that stage is your own classroom.
