Painter Ludwik "Koz" Kozlowski
A retired medical doctor originally from Poland, Koz
has paintings in private collections all over the U.S.
and abroad in Europe. He considers Arkansas' own
very famous artist V.L. Cox his mentor, who by the way
purchased some of his art. Because of her
encouragement, painting eventually became his
passion. You may find Koz doing demos in our cafe
during lunch on Thursdays. His miniatures are
popular and prices are affordable.

Collage Artist Byron Werner
Byron's "psychadelic eye candy" pieces are collected
internationally. Watch Byron as he creates his unique

Call for True Stories for Tales from the South
"Tales from the South" is a radio show that airs the 4th
Thursday of each month on KUAR. "Tales"
showcases Arkansans reading their own true stories
and is recorded in front of a live audience at Starving
Artist Cafe'. "Tales" is created, edited, and hosted by
Starving Artist Cafe' co-owner Paula Morell.
We are currently accepting submissions. Stories must
be true and told in the first person and must follow
traditional story format. Topic and theme open.
Deadline for next recording is Monday, February 09.
