Miss the August Pride in the Arts Reception?
30thann
Selected artwork by Callandra S. Cook and Mario Fernandez are available for bid on the GLCCB's E-bay Webpage.

Greetings!

Summer is officially over and many return to work, school, and full schedules (and hopefully cooler weather!).  The Center's summer was a busy one, with Pride, new programming like Peer to Peer counseling, Pride in the Arts, and the new ACE enrichment class series, there has been little time to relax.

As we look ahead into fall, Out-rageous and our 30th Anniversary promise to keep the momentum going.  We hope you will join us on October 20th at the Walters Art Museum for the return of Out-rageous.  The Center will be celebrating 30 years of service to Baltimore's GLBT community as well as honoring some important people who made a difference along the way.  It's going to be an amazing evening!

Have a great September!

Dr. Marion Visits Baltimore
Dr. Marion

Later this month, nationally recognized elder care expert and lecturer will visit Baltimore during her bus tour of the East Coast.

As of this writing, the details of her Baltimore stop are not finalized, but the GLCCB and other community partners are working with Dr. Marion's management to co-sponsor a lecture that will address not only aging and elder care issues, but also how these impact the GLBT community -- something that has only begun to gain attention in recent years.

We will send an update as soon as more details become available.

Thank you for your continued support!

Sincerely,
