You're Never Too Old To Start RVing!
Last month I told you that I had been in Canada after seeing the grandkids and family. I forgot to tell you one of the most memorable moments. I was in a campground in Lethbridge, AB and was walking back to my rig after dropping off my garbage. A lady came up to me and said aren't you Ken, from Coil n' Wrap? I was shocked. I wasn't in my Coil n' Wrap uniform and she recognized me. She wanted to buy another shower head for a friend's unit. She knew I was on my way to Canada because she read the newsletter. So "Hi" to the Lethbridge lady. You made my day! My wife thinks I am famous!
My Dad passed away a few years ago leaving Mom to live alone in a large home on a lake outside of Calgary. I grew up on this lake and spent many grat summers water skiing as a child and then with my kids. We had lots of friends a the lake and year or so ago our neighbor, George, lost his wife. Mom & George have known each other since being kids. Recently George and Mom started seeing more and more of each other. When we arrived to see Mom we found out that George, an avid RVer for years, had talked her into going RVing. George and Mom are in their 80's. So off they went camping and had a great time, so much so, they stayed longer than planned. We hope that George and Mom do a lot more RVing together. Just goes to show you that's it's never too late.........
The headline of this months newsletter says, "Yippee!" Summers Over, Fuel Prices Are Down". Here in Arizona that means the temperature only hit 95 degrees and it feels like a cold snap. You can even sit outside tonight. It's so nice to see fuel prices dropping. We just have to hope they keep going in the same direction.
Travel safely, Ken & Judy Wilton Owners & RVers
