This is Legends...coming at you with what's happening this weekend!
Top 3 introductions that didn't make "The Beat" this
week:
1. Feeling weak because the DH pulled the
spinach?
Well, get all the energy you need from Legends with
food, drinks and entertainment that even Popeye
would enjoy.
2. Hit it big on “Millionaire” and want to
celebrate or
just looking for a action packed place to spend your
weekend? Look no further. From start to finish, your
entertainment hotseat is only steps away. Legends.
Final Answer.
3. Symptoms: First round of exams in full
gear,
temperatures dropping, a football loss and fall break
not quite withing grasp. Prescription: Legends
for all your weekend’s needs.
OK, so they did in fact make "The Beat". The point
is...we just don't throw this thing together - we
really toil over what will enter your inbox each
week.
Think you have a clever intro for us? Send it our way!

Come see the good, the bad and the ugly as we hold
our own version of this summer's hit television show.

Mike Peterson of the Mike Peterson Show, on hand to
host the contest. Similarly, David Hasselhoff
won't be here, but members of the ND Pom Squad &

show - they're a close substitute, right?
If you have a talent and have not yet signed
up...you must do so by 10am Thursday morning -- click here to register! Regardless of how
wacky your talent is, we want to see it!
Top Prizes include:
1st Place - $200 | 2nd Place - $75 | 3rd Place -

Ron Burgundy’s jazz flute get you going? Head to
Legends for that relaxed lounge feel -- it's a
little something we call Club Jazz!
Kick back, relax and enjoy some good live tunes.
We'll bring out the candles, dim the lights and even
throw out some snacks.
In addition to the
performances we have planed, we're going to open
the stage to all those who have some music to
share. It's our posh version of an open mic night.
So grab some friends and come enjoy conversation,
good music, maybe dance a little and, of course,
we'll have our $2 specials in full effect.
A perfect night to use our VIP Lounge

Sebastian
Friday, September 22 @ 10pm
Sebastian is one of today's hottest rising comedians.
As seen on Vince Vaughn's Wild West Comedy tour
last spring, Sebastian returns to campus for a
headlining gig.
This man, who calls himself the Sinatra of Comedy
(we're not really sure why), has his own special on
Comedy Central, trained at the Second City in
Chicago, has appeared on numerous late night shows
and will star in movie release this summer. Come
catch him while you can!
Show courtesy of SUB.

ND v. MSU Gamewatch
Saturday, September 23 @ 8pm
Our Irish have a lot to prove to themselves, the
pundits and most definitely the Spartans. We owe
those boys up in East Lansing a little something and
it's about time we gave it to them.
Come grab some free food and catch the game here
at Legends on our 144" screen TV or one of other
four plasma TVs.
GO IRISH BEAT SPARTANS!

Mates of State
Saturday, September 23 @ Midnight
Mates of State’s incessant touring has propelled this
husband and wife, organ and drums, vocal-laden
rock duo into national spotlight. This has been one
of the most anticipated Legends concerts of the
year, thus far. Currently their out touring to support
their 4th album, and we're their next stop -- don't
miss out!
Special Guests, Starli
ght Mints will be on hand to
open the show.
This candy-coated, mod, odd ball, pop quintet is a
real treat. They have thier own funky brand of
heavily instrumental -- think cello, violin, triangle,
and sound effects -- surrealistically worded pop
sound.
The first 10 people to send an email to
legends@nd.edu will receive an official, full color
22"x18" Mates of Sate double sided tour poster.
