Seeking Volunteers for Foundation!
The Phi Sigma Sigma Foundation is seeking volunteers with experience in finance, accounting, investments or banking to serve on the Foundation Finance and Investments Committee. The Foundation is dedicated to raising funds to advance women through educational grants and scholarships and to strengthen chapters through leadership programming.
If you have a few hours a month to volunteer, please join one of the Foundation's dynamic committee by contacting Foundation Executive Director Michelle Soucy at foundation@phisigmasigma.org.

Gearing up to Celebrate 100 Years of Sisterhood!
Phi Sigma Sigma is in full swing planning activities to help commemorate Phi Sigma Sigma's Centennial anniversary July 10-14, 2013 in New York City. With the Phi Sigma Sigma Fraternity discussing the intricate details pertaining to location and events to the Phi Sigma Sigma Foundation gathering to talk about the opportunity to award $100,000 in scholarships and need-based educational grants, it is sure to be an unforgettable event!

The Jeanine Jacobs Goldberg Archon of the Year award is presented to the collegiate chapter archon deemed by the grand archon to be the most outstanding based on her contributions to the chapter and her relationship with the Fraternity.

Phi Sigma Sigma will return to the University of Delaware
Phi Sigma Sigma is excited to announce that we have formally been invited to recolonize our Delta Eta Chapter at the University of Delaware in spring 2013, following formal recruitment.
The University of Delaware has a rich history that stems all the way back to 1743. Its website says, "Our first class [of alumni] included three signers of the Declaration of Independence and one signer of the U.S. Constitution." The University of Delaware is the largest university in Delaware. With its main campus in Newark and satellite campuses in Dover, Wilmington, Lewes and Georgetown, the University of Delaware is home to nearly 16,000 undergraduates. Read more> |

From Illinois to South Africa
A Phi Sigma Sigma sister "Aims High" as she volunteers with the Peace Corps
Alana McGinty (Epsilon Alpha Chapter at Illinois State University) is proud to be a Phi Sigma Sigma as she resides in South Africa working with the Peace Corps. In January 2011, Alana arrived in South Africa to work with the Community HIV/AIDS Outreach Project (CHOP). In the community she works with Ikhwezi Support Group, a small non-profit organization. Its primary focus is to support those infected and affected by HIV/AIDS. Read more>

Collegiate Chapter Donations Reach Record Highs!
Phi Sigma Sigma sisters donate more than ever
Raising over $250,000 for the Phi Sigma Sigma Foundation, our collegians have broken all previous year fundraising records. WOW! These funds make a real difference - supporting the Undergraduate Interfraternity Institute (UIFI) and Leadership Conference programming, as well as scholarships and need-based education grants for deserving sisters.
