~  Phi Sig Fun Facts!  ~

While our Founders could vote as a group on adopting our ritual, they could not vote in a United States election. The Congressional Union for Women Suffrage was formed in 1913 (the same year as our founding) in an effort to grant women the right to vote. The 19th Constitutional amendment was passed in 1919 and signed into law a year later.
