Spring 2006

RV Greetings!

Finally it looks like spring has arrived, and just maybe we have seen the last of the snow. (Did I just jinx myself) So now it's time to go camping right? Well not exactly, with the explosion of the RV market over the last 5 years you had better have made all of your reservations for the summer already.

We just about have the whole summer of camping fun planned and all of the reservations made. But just a few years ago I remember never making a plan for a week long trip let alone a weekend outing, and reserving a campsite, what was that? What happened to traveling like a nomad, unplanned and free of a schedule?

Is the hobby becoming to popular? Many of the campgrounds we visit here in the Northeast have power issues, campsites that make you feel like your stuffed in like sardines, and to top it off they are booked solid for the summer.

Are enough new campgrounds opening up to meet this demand? Are the older campgrounds updating to meet the requirements of newer RVs?

The 2006 iRV2.com National Rally registration has closed. It looks like we are going to have a great turn out and a great time in the Smokey Mountains of Tennessee. Look for a announcement at the conclusion of the 2006 rally for details on the 2007 rally.

Not only does iRV2 have it's National Rally, but many of the members hold regional rallies or camp-outs on a regular basis. iRV2.com rallies are a great place to meet up with members you have chatted with in the forums, make new friends and just have fun!. Click below for a list of regions that currently have scheduled events. And remember everyone is welcome!

    Website News & Updates

If you hadn't heard already, back in January one of the main servers crashed and we lost all of the RV photos, links, classifieds & campground reviews. I appreciate everyone patients and help in restoring these areas. Some good did come out of this and the biggest being the installation of a new imaging software which has improved photo quality 100% in the photo gallery, classifieds and campground reviews.

If you haven't been by the site lately, we already have over 1500 photos back in the RV photo gallery, along with 90 current classified ads

A big area we do need help with is the campground reviews and the RV Link sections. If you have a minute and could add your favorite campground and or RV Link we would really appreciate it.

We have also added 2 new and very popular forums, Freightliner Motorhome Chassis & Ford Motorhome Chassis forums. Now if you own a motorhome with a Workhorse, Freightliner or Ford chassis you have a area to discuss all aspects of these products.

And last but not least I wanted to mention that Bob Gregory (rebelsbeach) has come aboard as a co- owner of iRV2.com. Bob is as obsessed a RV'er as I am, and has loved iRV2.com since the day he joined back in 2003. Next time you see Bob ask him for that free RV wash he promised all of the members of iRV2.com. Let see that is 18,655 RV's, Bob you're going to be very busy!

    iRV2 Sponsor News

We would like to thank Brazels RV for stepping up to become a main sponsor of iRV2.com. Brazels will also be attending the 2006 iRV2.com National Rally assisting members with the installation of their power enhancement products.

Please stop by the sponsor page and visit these great companies. It is because of their support that we are able to maintain a free site for everyone to enjoy.

    Bath Caddy Shower System
RV showers tend to be quite small and there is never enough space to store shampoo, conditioners, soaps and wash rags.

Well the Shower Caddy solves this issue with the one and two shelf system which is held in place with 4 large suction cups so there is not installation.

    Starting at: $11.95
