RV Greetings!
Well we are fast approaching the April 15th deadline
to
sign up for this years Lancaster National Rally. Every
year I get a number of emails from potential
participants who are on the fence about attending
for the first time. Some of the concerns
are; "I don't know anyone, will I still have fun?", "We
own a small RV are we still welcome?", "Is it o.k. to
do somethings on our own, without the group?", "Will
there be time to relax?", "Are kids welcome?" and
many more.
The answer to all of these questions is YES! Back in
2001 when the first National Rally was proposed,
even I was very skeptical that I would enjoy myself
at a week long RV event. At that time I had never
even camped with a group of people, let alone people
who I had only met online. And to make matters
worse the event was scheduled when my kids had to
head back to school so I went by myself.
To make a long story short I had a great time, met
some amazing people, and was glad I kept a open
mind and gave it a try. Since that time my family
and I have attended the Nashville and San Antonio
events and had a incredible time at both. We
had the opportunity to visit the area, make many
new friends and created some great memories.
I hope you decide to join us!

The National Rally promises to be an exciting and
relaxing chance to visit some of the more historic
areas of our grand country. Centered in Amish
Country, Lancaster, PA, where "plain" folk still travel
by horse-an-buggy and foot scooters, you will see
glimpses of a bygone era. Immerse yourself in the
aroma of Lancaster County farm country and watch
the activities of the Amish who live much like we all
did in the 1800's.
The rally offers a variety of family activities including
a Pennsylvania Dutch Dinner, Amish comedian,
and "Oktoberfest in June". Also available are three
fun-filled and educational tours: Philadelphia, PA, the
place where this country was born with signing of
the Declaration of Independence, Gettysburg, site of
the historic Civil War battle, and a day-long Amish
country tour, including Lititz, the birthplace of the
pretzel in the New World.
Time is running out to get in on a great week of iRV2
fun. Sign-up Soon!
