September 2012

Greetings!

We're just nine days away from Can Do Day!

On September 22nd, we ask you to join us in celebrating our founder, Jimmie Heuga's birthday by doing something you can do. How will you celebrate?  Tell us today on our Facebook page by sharing your Can Do Day pledge in honor of Jimmie and to raise awareness for MS.

By sharing your pledge, you help inspire others and you support others in their own can do spirit. Please remember to come back to our Facebook page on Can Do Day to show us what you did and post a picture on our wall of your Can Do Day adventure.

It wouldn't be putting too fine a point on it to say that Trevis L Gleason's culinary career had reached the stratosphere, both metaphorically and actually.  While teaching at the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration, Chef Trevis was tapped by the US Agency for International Development (USAID) to develop a network of farmer-owned bakeries in the former Soviet Republic of Ukraine.  Upon returning to the United States, he became Director of Operations for the California Culinary Academy.
